ReplyDeletehave a great evening....
When I was a boy I went to Blackpool and was terrified by the Laughing Clown on the Pleasure Beach there. However, the scariest thing I saw in Blackpool was a shop window that was selling shoes, I guess, but the shop owners had hung a pair of bare moving legs suspended above the display window - no display, just the legs. The top photo brought that all back to me! Aaaaargh!!! Ia! Ia! Shub Niggurath!! That looks like a fun job. Where are the traditional Carnies now? Keep smiling! G. ;-)=
ReplyDeleteYou can't quite see it, but the legs in ye top photo are extending from inside suitcases that are hanging from the ceiling. My boss, Walt Jones, had a very macabre sense of humor. That's him, in the wee movie shewing the Martian on the screen of the Mars Machine.
